So one of the things that Dad taught me was about work and work ethic. He had it in spades.
Recently, I received "2 Points", which from my Dad meant an indication of a job well done.
It would always be marked on an imaginary chalkboard with your finger in the sky.
On that day, I was reflecting on how many points I had accumulated over time and I wanted to phone up my brother to boast about the recent points that I had received and stick it in his face.
So I put in the call in order to get a rough tally on where I stood.
This is what he said - "Oh, those only last for the day, you get to start over tomorrow".
Lesson - Do good work everyday and stay humble.
